Phos: Encountering the Good Shepherd
From the Greek work for light and enlightenment, Phos is our teaching program on Sundays for children and youth.
Our Phos program currently has two CGS (see below for details) groups: Level 1 for ages 3-6 and Level 2 for ages 7-11.
For Level 3 Phos there is a youth class (12+).

Catechesis of the Good ShepherdCatechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a religious education program developed by followers of Maria Montessori (Cavelleti and Gobbi).
Through scripture and liturgy, CGS exposes a child to God's Presence in their own way, in their own time, on their own terms. Our program is led by instructors who have completed CGS training. Currently we run this program after communion and during our Agape meal. |
