We have a beautiful week planned, do feel free to join us!

Wednesday, June 12, 2019
Faith and Love -
7pm
Compline - 8pm

"Hello, my name is Paul..."
This Wednesday evening, Fr. Paul will introduce himself and his perspective of parish health to the community. Take this opportunity to know your priest - ask questions, discuss, and share a cup of coffee with your parish priest.

Thursday, June 13, 2019
St. Silouan House of Hospitality -
 9:30am to 2:30pm

Each Thursday, St Silouan continues the litugical life of our community - gathering, praying, and sharing a meal together. Come and be connected to others, brothers and sisters in Christ. For those who cannot for one reason or another be present during this communal work of mercy, you can participate through your prayers, and if you are interested, please speak to Fr. Paul about offering food/or the cost of a meal in memorial of a loved one. If you'd like to stop by and grab a cup of coffee with Fr. Paul, by all means, please do!

Greenification – 2 pm

Join us at 2 pm and help us decorate our parish in green –the colour of life, for the Holy Spirit.
Before making the trip to St. Silouan’s:

1. grab a garbage bag or basket and a pair of shears or scissors;
2. visit your backyard or a field or river trail or ravine;
3. respectfully harvest whatever greenery is available:
               grasses to spread on the floor;
               green vines (which grow as weeds) to wrap around icons or windowsills or other areas;
               green branches or blossoming branches;
               flowers are always welcome….as they complement the green;
               potted plants are also welcome.

4. Bring your greenery to the parish by 2 pm or shortly afterwards;, we’ll start decorating at about 2:30 together as a
community.

Vigil for the Feast of Pentecost - 5pm -
Come let us with one voice glorify the coming of the Holy Spirit, who "called all to unity".

Sunday of Pentecost, June 16, 2019

Hours - 930am
Divine liturgy for Pentecost - 10am
Agape meal - 11:30am
Kneeling Vespers - 12:30PM

Troparion — Tone 8
Blessed art You O Christ Our God / You have revealed the fishermen as most wise / By sending down upon them the Holy Spirit / Through them You drew the world into Your net / O Lover of Man, Glory to You!
Kontakion — Tone 8
When the most High came down and confused the tongues, / He divided the nations; / But when he distributed the tongues of fire / He called all to unity. / Therefore, with one voice, we glorify the All-holy Spirit!
